When i search the keyword “boss key” on google.com,the first three applications are “BossKey 2.00 from keir.net”,”Boss Key from mindgems.com” and “EfreeSoft Boss Key”.Many of my clients update their OS from Windows XP to Windows Vista,therefore I ran a test of these three boss key applications and PRDesktop on Windows Vista:

“BossKey 2.00 from keir.net” can now have up to 10 virtual desktops, each with its own associated hotkey. It still has the ability to toggle between the current and last desktop with a separate hotkey.
Added the ability to specify any number of windows that should be excluded from hiding. user enter a partial text string and if that text is contained in the title bar of any window (case sensitive) it will not be hidden.
Fixed order of taskbar icons being reversed when switching desktops. the last update date is November 19th 2000.I guess this software was designed for Windows 98/2000,Never tested on Windows Vista.I downloaded the packege , uncompress it and ran the application.When i pressing the hotkey,all the open windows were hidden.But in a minute,the program crashed and I can not restore the hidden windows.Maybe this applcation were not designed for Windows Vista.

It will mute or lower the sound of the movie you was watching or the game you was playing. It will hide the icons in your system tray covering the chat application that you use. It will restore your original screen resolution if you was playing a game. It will start or bring to the top of your desktop the application that you was supposed to use .I downloaded the packege , install it and ran the application.It crashed immediately.Maybe this applcation were not tested under Windows Vista.
